Por Qué Estudio El Español

¡Hola! Me llamo ‘Pramuaji’, pero prefiero a llamarme ‘Adjay’. Nací en Indonesia, por eso soy Indonesio. Actualmente, estoy estudiando Politica y Relaciónes Internacionales en Universidad Padjadjaran de Bandung, Indonesia. Ahora, yo se contaré a usted la historia de por qué aprendí al español.

Como estudiante de las Relaciónes Internacionales, es necesario para nosotros tener una buena habilidad de comunicación. La necesitamos para ganar información sobre eventos actuales del mundo entero, los que no solo se proveido por soportes locales pero tambien por soportes de los países extranjeros en lenguas diferentes. Tambien, la necesitamos para expresar al mundo nuestra actitud hacia las problemas de relaciónes internacionales y fenómenos. Por eso, tenemos que tener un buen conocimiento de semántica y lingüístico, tambien la habilidad de hablar lenguas extranjeras. Así, a los menos, tenemos que ser bien en ingles, pero además, es mejor que nosotros tengamos otra lengua extranjera a comprender. Por eso, yo he decidido de elegir el español.

Creo que para poder de comunicar bien en lengua extranjera, hay que entender la lengua. Hay que saber las reglas, las gramáticas, etcétera. A entenderla, hay que estar acostumbrado con la lengua. No es bastante solo aprenderla, hay que practicarla. Puedes comenzar de cosas sencillas como cuando estas viendo algo, trata de buscar comó se dice lo en la lengua que estas aprendiendo. O puedes cambiar la configuración de idioma de tu telefóno celular, o tu cuenta de Facebook o Twitter a la lengua que estas aprendiendo. Esas cosas son muy útiles para enriquecer el vocabulario.

Pues, ¿por qué he decidido a aprender el español? tengo mi propia razón. Primero, comparado a otras lenguas extranjeras como francia, aleman, japones o chino, el español es más facíl para aprender. Gramáticamente, tiene muchas semejanzas con francia o italiano, pero las palabras españolas son más facíles a pronunciar. De aprender el español, tambien no necesitamos recordar letras, porque utiliza la común letra latina mientras de aprender japones, es necesario recordar letras de Kanji, Hiragana y Katakana. Segundo, además de españa, hay muchos países se hablan español como sus primero idioma, especialmente los países en las regiónes de américa del sur y centroamérica. Por los estudiantes de Relaciónes Internacionales, se podría referido como un gran oportunidad, al saber el hecho que el gobierno de indonesia tiene tal buena relación con los países de la américa del sur. Tercero, mi opinión personal, el español me sondea más sexy que otras lenguas, especialmente cuando se habla en voz profunda y amable. Creo que sea muy útil para nosotros los muchachos de flirtear a las chicas, y no te olvides que las chicas Hispánicas son hermosas.

Mi interés en el español se empezó a la primera vez que miré la videoclip de la canción española ‘No Me Ames’ de Jennifer Lopez y Marc Anthony. La videoclip tiene subtítulo de ingles en el fondo de la pantalla, traduciendo las letras. Me hicieron interesado a mí a las palabras y las frases. Le dijé a mi padre que quiero estudiar el español y los días después, me dío libros para aprender el español. Inicialmente, yo lo traté de estudiar mí mismo, pero me hizo confuso, me aburrí y de repente, he perdido el interés. Se hizo hasta terminé la escuela alta, pero cuando me enumeró en el departemento de las Relaciónes Internacionales, me dí cuenta que tuve que estudiar de nuevo el español.

Comencé de estudiarlo otra vez en 2008 con unos de mis amigos de colegio. El maestro se llama Señor Saimi. Es Indonesio. Ha pasado cerca de 5 años en Mexico, trabajando en un barco para cruceros (supongo que..). Él habla español muy bien, aunque no es un hablante nativo de español. Nos enseño muy bien. De veras me disfrutaron las clases que he asistido. Una cosa que me hizó feliz de estudiar el español con él es ¡porque es barato! Por nivél básico de 30 clases en 3 periodos, solo me costó menos de 1 millón rupiah. Los horarios son flexible tambien. Podemos ponerse de acuerdo para cancelar una clase si cualquiera de nosotros no podemos asistir, y reprogramarla a otra día.

Para la clausura, me gustaría sugerir que si se quiere aprender lenguas extranjeras además de ingles, es mejor que utilizar el ingles como lenguaje intermedio en aprenderla. Así que se puede perfeccionar el ingles y estudiar la lengua extranjera simultáneamente.

I’m a student, currently studying politics and International Relations in Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia. Now, I would like to tell you the story of why I learned Spanish.

As International Relations’ students, it’s kind of necessary for us to have a good communication skill. We need that in order to gain information about the current events from all over the world, which is provided not only by local media but also from media from foreign countries in different languages. We also need that to express our attitude towards international relations’ issues and phenomenas to the world. It requires us to have good knowledge on semantics and linguistics, also the ability to speak in foreign languages. Thus, at the very least, we have to be good in English, but in addition, we better have another foreign language to be comprehended. For that, I chose Spanish.

In my opinion, in order to be capable of communicating in foreign language, we have to understand the language. We have to know the rules, the grammars, and so on. In order to understand it, we have to get used to it. We have to be familiar with it. It’s not enough just to learn it, we have to practice it. Start with a simple thing like if you’re seeing a something, try to find its word in the language you’re learning. Or you can change the language setting of your cellphone, Facebook or Twitter account to the language you’re learning. It’s very useful to enrich vocabulary.

So, why did I choose Spanish? Well, I have my own reason. First, compared to any other foreign languages such as French, German, Japanese or Chinese, Spanish is a lot easier to learn. Grammatically, it has many similarities with French and Italian, but Spanish words are easier to pronounce than French or Italian. By learning Spanish, we don’t have to memorize letters, because it uses the common Latin letters, not hiragana, katakana or Kanji. Second, aside from Spain, there are many countries that use Spanish as their first spoken language, especially in the South and Central American region. For International Relations’ students, it could be referred as a great opportunity, knowing the fact that the Indonesian government has such good relationship with South American countries. Third, my personal opinion, that Spanish sounds sexier than any other languages, especially when it is spoken with deep and gentle voice. I think it’s very useful for us boys to flirt with girls, and don’t forget that Hispanic girls are beautiful.

My interest in Spanish began at the very first time I watched the video clip of a Spanish song ‘No Me Ames’ by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The video clip has an English subtitle at the bottom of the screen, translating the lyrics. I was really intrigued by its words and sentences. I told my dad about it and a couple of days later he bought me Spanish learning books. I tried to study it by myself, initially, but I found myself confused, got bored and suddenly I’ve lost my interest. That went on until I finished high school, but when I got listed in the International Relations’ department, I realized that I had to learn it again.

I started studying Spanish again in 2008 with some of my college friends. The teacher’s name is Saimi. He’s Indonesian. He has spent about five years in Mexico working on a cruise ship (I guess). He speaks Spanish very well, and although he isn’t a Spanish native speaker, but I think he taught us very well. I really enjoyed each class I’ve attended. One thing that got me excited to learn Spanish with him was because it’s cheap! For Basic level of 3 terms in 30 meetings, it cost me less than 1 million rupiah. The schedule was also flexible. We could agree to cancel the class if one of us were not able to attend, and change it to another day.

For the closing part, I would like to suggest that if you want to learn any foreign language besides English, it’s better to use English as the medium language on learning it. So you can improve your English and learn the foreign language simultaneously.
